Bags

“Life is too short for fake bags, shoes, or people.”  I am a bag girl, always have been and always will be. Walking away from my bag obsession was tough BUT I am well on  my way to finding great cruelty-free alternatives to support the habit.

Gunas– I purchased a bag and a wallet from here a year ago. The wallet fell apart very quickly and they reimbursed me for it. The bag has held up well and I get a lot of compliments on it.

Matt and Nat– I bought my first Matt & Nat bags years before going vegan just because I really liked them. They are a pretty awesome company making all vegan bags and some are even made out of recycled plastic bottles. I haven’t loved their recent styles but they are typically very well made.

Stella McCartney– Stella is high end fashion but I am in love with the bags. They are a vegetarian company so no leather, skin, fur, or feathers but some wool and silk, which I still avoid. You can read about their beliefs here. I now have a few of these bags and a wallet and really love the products. People don’t believe me when I tell they they aren’t leather.

Jill Milan– This is a line I came across but have yet to purchase from. They have bags and a few coats too.

GX by Gwen Stefani- It was exciting to see Gwen Stefani announcing a vegan line. She has pretty sick shoes and some cool bags but no website. Her line is sold on Shoe Dazzle, Zappos, and Nordstrom. You can just search for GX by Gwen and options will come up. I own one bag so far which I like, not love, but the shoes……WOW!
